On Monday 30th June, tennis fans from around the World will congregate at one of London’s most famous postcodes, SW19, for the sport’s most esteemed Grand Slam.
In 2024, Wimbledon saw the return of Carlos Alcaraz as he once again defeated Novak Djokovic to retain his title as King of Wimbledon.
It always seems to be the case that Wimbledon is the tournament where tennis’ stars of the future come to the forefront. Make sure to tune in to Wimbledon 2025 to see if a new superstar will emerge victorious or if Alcaraz will once again reign supreme.
It promises to be another 14 days of action-packed tennising excellence.
What will be the Order of Play at Wimbledon 2025?
Much like with the 2024 tournament, Wimbledon will be holding matches on the middle Sunday. This means non-stop tennis for two weeks!
The important thing to remember with the order of play at Wimbledon 2025 is the rule of two. Each round, for both Gentlemen and Ladies, will be contested over two days, up until the semi-final stage, at that point the Ladies’ matches will occur the day before the Gentlemen’s matches.
It is important to note that this Schedule is not finalised and may be subject to change due to weather, player injury, or other factors out of our control.
What time will matches commence?
It has been announced that all matches on the outside courts at Wimbledon 2025 will begin play at 11am.
However, this is slightly different if you are hoping to catch a match on Centre Court or Court No.1.
Centre Court will retain the start time that it has used for the last few years, with matches set to start at 1.30pm.
Court No.1 will have a slightly earlier start that Centre Court, with matches there getting underway at 1pm.
When will we know which players are playing where?
The players and the courts they will be playing on will be announced the night before the next day’s play, and while we don’t know exactly which players will be playing on which courts yet, we do know the schedule that the matches will follow.
